Hi, my name is Damien Chrzanowski and I’m the founder of Pulse Exercise Physiology.
So, why Exercise Physiology you might say?
Having experienced my own health challenges in my 20’s and the effects of cancer on both body and mind through loved ones, I knew that my vocation was to help improve the quality of life for people going through their own health journey. This led me from being a mechanical engineer to retraining as a clinical exercise physiologist at QUT, while working in the health and wellbeing industry since 2015.
My philosophy is to help you achieve the best that you can be though an evidence-based, holistic approach, by addressing issues of both the body and mind whilst taking into account your future goals and aspirations, for your long-term health and wellbeing.
I believe in a collaborative working relationship with my clients, this means that it is “our journey” in achieving your desired goals while having fun in the process. Education is as important as treating the root cause. So, making you understand how your beliefs, behaviours and choices affect your body, and how a change in approach, will greatly improve your performance and quality of life.
I have been fortunate enough to have worked with other passionate health professionals in areas of complex pain management, hypermobility, oncology, respiratory and cardiovascular disease, autoimmune disorders and many other rare conditions. I have developed a special interest in complex pain management and hypermobility and currently work with the team Brisbane
Musculoskeletal Medicine as a consulting exercise rehabilitation specialist in chronic pain, working together to shape the way pain management is approached.
Through Pulse, my goal is to help people become the best they can be, to live healthy, active and meaningful lives no matter what their health circumstance may be.
No matter what your goal is, let Pulse be at the heart of your wellbeing.
Accredited Exercise Physiologists are highly skilled allied health professionals that use exercise and movement as a form of therapy to help treat, manage, and prevent a wide variety of injuries and conditions.
An evidence-based, holistic approach to performance and rehabilitation is taken to ensure that on top of addressing the issue at hand, overall function and wellbeing improve. This consists of assessing your capacity and function, developing a program suited to your individual needs, then supervising and educating you throughout the process while tracking your progress.
At Pulse we are passionate about your health and wellbeing, but most importantly we want to help you achieve your goals.
No matter if you want to improve your health and fitness, manage complex health conditions, rehabilitate post injury or be at your peak, we provide the expert evidence-based knowledge, personally tailored programs and easy to understand education to help you achieve your full potential.
We are at the heart of your wellbeing journey…
